Cassidy Larer, 15 years old, Heritage High School. I like to walk around with my camera and pretty much take pictures of everything I see, I almost always have my camera on me, and if I don’t I surely have my cell phone which has a camera on that, I really enjoy taking pictures of almost everything I see. There are many different things that I love about digital photography, words can’t even explain how much I adore digital photography. There are many things that I really enjoy taking pictures of, but my favorite is taking pictures of the clouds! The clouds and the sky are my ultimate favorite, I really don’t know why but I’m pretty obsessed with clouds. I also really like taking pictures of me and my friends! But other then that I just pretty much enjoy taking pictures of nature, like waterfalls, rivers, lakes, trees, leafs. etc. I love going to little creeks and taking pictures there. Why? Because I just think that in my opinion, nature is beyond gorgeous and you can almost always take amazing pictures of water falls, and all that kind of stuff! I just think that its really fun! Yes, I actually have done some traveling, but I would like to do some more. I’ve traveled to Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota and North Dakota. And every time I go to California I just about flip out and take as many photographs as I possibly can, especially in San Francisco, I loved taking pictures of the city and all the buildings there! When I went to South Dakota I took lots, and lots of pictures of Mt. Rushmore. I really don’t have a famous photographer that I admire, and that influences me. I mainly just enjoy coming up with my own styles and being creative myself!

Artist Statement!

Art, art, art. I think that Art is an amazing thing. When I think of art I think of something beautiful and something that catches someones eyes, and something that can be really creative. Now in my opinion creavitiy is one of the made keys to art and photography, think outside the box and your photo can turn out even better then you think it will. Before I thought photography was just something that was kind of boring and it was just there, ya know? I’ve learned now that anyone can take photography, whether they think they can or not, it is possible(: When I take photographs I like to show my creativity, I like my pictures to be something that catches peoples eyes right then and there. I also like my photographs to show emotion in them.  Art can be used in so many ways, art can be used by people, animals, landscapes..etc. pretty much anything that you can think of. Art is just an amazing thing, period.
